Welcome to LumoraVR ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LumoraVR regarding your use of our virtual reality social platform.

Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Users under 18 require parent/guardian consent. By using LumoraVR, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to request age verification at any time.

Account Registration: You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, securing your credentials, and all activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Each user is limited to one active account. You must provide and maintain a valid email address for important account notifications.

Platform Rules: Users may not:
  • Violate laws or harass other users
  • Upload malicious code or compromise security
  • Create multiple accounts or impersonate others
  • Use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
  • Share content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Engage in hate speech or discriminatory behavior
  • Attempt to manipulate platform systems
  • Share or sell account access

User Content: You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to host, display, and modify it for technical compatibility. We may remove content that violates these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your content.

Virtual Property: Virtual items are licensed, not owned. Purchases are non-refundable unless required by law. We may modify or remove virtual items at any time. Trading virtual items outside our platform is prohibited. Virtual items have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for real currency.

Communication and Notifications: You will receive important communications about:
  • Terms of Service updates
  • Account security alerts
  • Platform maintenance
  • Policy changes

These notifications will be sent to your registered email address.

You can manage notification preferences in account settings, except for essential service communications.

Liability: The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, actions of other users, or hardware compatibility issues. We recommend using compatible hardware as specified in our guidelines.

Termination: We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Platform and your license to virtual items ends. Any unused credits or virtual items will be forfeited. We may retain your data as required by law.

Updates: We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:
  • You will receive an email notification
  • Changes will be effective after 30 days
  • Continuing to use the platform indicates acceptance
  • Previous versions will be available in our archive
